Mors Smitt will supply electromechanical auxiliary plug-in relays (D-series) for 86 150 kV high-voltage substations, for the Greek Public Power Corporation SA (PPC). The contract was won by one of our customers in Portugal.

This turnkey project with an implementation period of 32 months, includes several substations and power plants which are part of the network spread throughout the Greek Islands.

The PPC National Utility for Power Transmission in Greece is responsible for generation, transmission and distribution of electricity throughout the country.

Applications

Our D-B plug-in auxiliary relays are applied as contact multiplication function and have proven their relaibility and cost effective solution for such a critical system.
