SDC-Series door control unit

The SDC-Series door control units are based on a standard and flexible platform which has proven to be a reliable platform in many projects already! This platform allows for easy customization like adapting supply voltage, number of I/O’s, type of I/O’s, network connectivity etc. to meet customer specifications.

 

The SDC-Series DCU implements self calibrating door control functionality, compensating for changing door friction, for instance caused by environmental influences or mechanical wear and tear. Each DCU is equipped with extensive diagnostic properties. Each DCU keeps a fault & event log and door cycle counter. Also real-time info can be obtained from the system like I/O status, system temperatures, current door state, active faults (if any), software versions, door open-, and close timing etc, etc.

 

The “WinTrain” software package, which runs on a standard Windows compatible laptop, is used to access this info locally. With the WinTrain package also parameter settings and door profile settings can be changed. When the DCU is connected to a vehicle communication bus, this info can also be made available to a Train Management System.
