ZKL II
The self detecting shunt bar ZKL II, ensures a safe blocking of a rack section, in order to protect construction and maintenance teams.
The shunt bar is installed between the rails and simulates the presence of a train by providing short circuit. The electronic circuit continously monitors the short circuit resistance. The short circuit is measured twice every second and upon a poor circuit the green LED stops flashing and an audio signal starts.
